Women And ADR Takes ADR Awareness to Adenta Market

On Thursday, 16th June, 2026, Women And ADR successfully held its Adenta Market Activation under the theme, “Educating Women in the Use and Benefits of ADR in Conflict Resolution.”

The outreach brought together market women from the Adenta Market in an interactive and educational session aimed at increasing awareness of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) as a faster, more affordable, and amicable approach to resolving conflicts without resorting to lengthy court proceedings.

The event featured insightful presentations from distinguished legal professionals, experienced ADR practitioners, and other stakeholders who emphasized the importance of embracing dialogue, mediation, and negotiation in resolving everyday disputes. Adding her voice to the conversation was a senior representative from the Ghana Immigration Service, alongside other honoured guests and officials, who encouraged women to seek peaceful and constructive methods of conflict resolution.

One of the highlights of the activation was a series of engaging role-play performances that portrayed common disputes encountered in everyday life. These practical demonstrations showed participants how conflicts can be effectively resolved through ADR, making the concept easy to understand and relate to.

Beyond the educational sessions, the event created an atmosphere of unity and celebration as participants joined the executives of Women And ADR in moments of music and dancing, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to community engagement through meaningful interactions.

As part of the activation, Women And ADR aprons were distributed to many of the market women, symbolizing the organization’s continued presence and commitment to empowering women with knowledge and access to peaceful dispute resolution mechanisms.

The entire event was professionally covered and live streamed by Eagle Eye Projects & Events, ensuring that the impactful conversations and activities reached a wider audience beyond the market community.

The Adenta Market Activation reflects Women And ADR’s unwavering commitment to empowering women with the knowledge and confidence to choose peaceful, efficient, and sustainable methods of resolving disputes, while fostering stronger and more harmonious communities.
