Educating Women on the Benefits of ADR in Conflict Resolution
On 21st November 2025, Women and ADR successfully organized “The ADR Advantage – Achimota Market Edition,” a community outreach initiative designed to educate women on the practical use and benefits of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in addressing everyday conflicts.
Held at the bustling Achimota Market, the event brought together market women, community members, ADR practitioners, and stakeholders committed to promoting peaceful conflict resolution and empowering women through knowledge and dialogue.
Understanding the Power of ADR
Conflicts are a natural part of life, whether in families, workplaces, businesses, or communities. However, many disputes can be resolved effectively without resorting to lengthy and expensive court processes.
The outreach program introduced participants to Alternative Dispute Resolution methods, including:

Through engaging discussions and practical examples, participants learned how ADR offers faster, more affordable, confidential, and relationship-preserving approaches to resolving disputes.

Participants were encouraged to embrace dialogue, effective communication, and collaborative problem-solving as tools for managing disagreements and promoting harmony.
