Women and ADR Celebrates One Year of Impact and Progress

Theme: One Year of Impact, A Future of Possibilities: Celebrating Progress and Advancing Women’s Contribution to Peaceful Dispute Resolution.

Women and ADR proudly announces its One Year Anniversary Celebration, marking an important milestone in its journey towards promoting Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), empowering women, and building a culture of peaceful conflict resolution across Ghana.

Over the past year, Women and ADR has remained committed to creating awareness about alternative approaches to resolving disputes and encouraging greater participation of women in peacebuilding and dispute resolution processes. This anniversary provides an opportunity to reflect on the progress made, recognise the contributions of stakeholders and partners, and renew our commitment to advancing accessible and inclusive justice.

The two-day celebration will take place on 12th and 13th November 2026 at the University of Education, Winneba, North Campus.

Under the theme, “One Year of Impact, A Future of Possibilities,” the celebration will highlight the important role women play in promoting dialogue, mediation, negotiation, and peaceful coexistence within families, workplaces, businesses, and communities.

The event will provide an opportunity for participants to engage in meaningful conversations, share experiences, appreciate achievements, and explore new opportunities for collaboration in advancing Alternative Dispute Resolution.

It will also bring attention to the importance of strengthening women’s voices and leadership in dispute resolution while encouraging individuals and institutions to embrace peaceful approaches to managing conflicts.

As Women and ADR celebrates this milestone, the organisation looks forward to building stronger partnerships, expanding community outreach, and creating greater awareness of ADR as an accessible pathway to peaceful dispute resolution.
